Summer CSA 2016: Week 19

This week, we received: some grapes, a cantaloupe, a cucumber, two small bell peppers, three scallions, and three tomatoes. (C & C didn’t get the cucumber and one less tomato – but they got two zucchinis and some peppers.)

20160825_171112 We ate the cantaloupe, grapes, bell peppers, and cucumber. I thought I’d cook with the tomatoes, but we just ate those raw, too.

The scallions sit in our crisper, waiting to be eaten for another week.

This week was one of the best CSA weeks to have in the beginning of a new semester  because it took no to very little preparation or forethought to eat our half-half share this week.
