This week, another family was on vacation, so C & C got their veggie share and we took the whole half of the other veggie share. We received: two cucumbers, four summer squash, three tomatoes, 3 bell peppers, some jalapeño peppers, some carrots, 3 onions, some potatoes, and a whole watermelon.
My parents were in town and we had a couple lunches of carrots, cucumbers, bell peppers, and hummus. And we ate watermelon for a number of meals and snacks.
One night, we ate the summer squash sautéed with an onion.
We left Scott alone with the tomatoes, jalapeño peppers, a couple onions, and the potatoes.
