This week, we received: three sweet potatoes, five tomatoes, a half bunch of kale, two heads of leafy greens, a bunch of chives, and two turnips.
I made a smoothie with some of the kale. And I made a pizza that was topped with the rest of the kale, the tomatoes, prosciutto, and some chives. I made mashed turnips and topped them with the rest of the chives and bacon, inspired by this recipe.
I made sweet potato chips, which we ate with chickenless nuggets. And we’ve been eating salads with the greens.
