Winter CSA 2015-16: Week 3

This week, we received: 3 heads of (butter?) lettuce, a bunch of kale, an acorn squash, 1 pattypan squash, some hot peppers, and three green peppers.

20151119_181311I used the squash (both the acorn and the pattypan) to make soup, which was roughly based on this recipe. I also added some hot pepper (just a little) and ginger.

I made the warm kale salad again.

We’ve been eating side salads with the lettuce and snacking on the green peppers.

We didn’t eat the hot peppers in time.
