This week, we received: a half bunch of beet greens, 2 scallions, ½ batch of green beans, 3 squash blossoms, 1 pint of strawberries, and 4 eggs (we gave our friends 2 eggs since they were more excited about eggs this week than we were).
I got home at 6:30pm on Thursday – starving! So I quickly made a pizza with the scallions, some garlic, mozzarella, and prosciutto.
I made a risotto with the beet greens and scallions. I garnished the dish with the squash blossoms. But I forgot to take a picture until all we had left were left-overs:
We ate the green beans as a side to a dinner. I ate the strawberries for breakfast the day after we got them. And we had bacon and eggs for breakfast on Sunday.
